WHO WE ARE
At TKARS, we are dedicated to fostering a rich and meaningful Jewish education for our students. We believe in a hands-on approach, tailoring our curriculum to meet the unique needs of each learner.
Serving the greater York County and South Charlotte areas, TKARS offers an innovative Jewish education for students of all backgrounds—from Torah Tots through B’nei Mitzvah and beyond. We welcome all students, regardless of level of observance or affiliation.
WHAT WE DO
Our students gather once a week on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Our engaging curriculum covers a range of topics, including Torah, Jewish holidays, mitzvot, Jewish values, and history. Lessons are brought to life through student-centered lessons and programming utilizing many aspects of learning such as visual and performing arts, inquiry, research, and critical thinking.
Hebrew instruction focuses on building strong reading fluency. Beginning in our youngest classes, students develop the skills they need to confidently prepare for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah, or wherever their Jewish adulthood takes them.
